My story with balding is quite a painful one and so I really do understand the hit that you can take from losing hair.
I had chemotherapy for terminal cancer and the treatment was long and hard. I was already thinning but the chemotherapy destroyed the last bit of hair that I had and along with it my confidence. I was suffering from male pattern baldness and I initially tried Scalp Micropigmentation which I was happy with for a few years.
Although I enjoyed having a shaved head, it just wasn’t the same as having hair. I also lost some or my brows and so I introduced guy brows into the business to give men a more defined brow. We also do beard fills for gaps in hair, brows and bears.
When I first started wearing hair pieces I tried other providers and for some while I though it was the best thing ever. I got such a great reaction from friends. After some time and with more experience, I realised that the quality of hair system and level of haircut was not the best.
I realised that I wanted a more modern style and better quality hair systems but they where not available in Australia. I started my journey of owning my own business in hair systems. We have been fully established for 5 years now and provide a space where men can feel comfortable to create positive changes. It's an opportunity to improve how we feel about our body and image.
